Lezlie and I both hail from the city of Dallas, but our upbringing was infused with influences from our parents' rural backgrounds. We frequently made trips to visit our grandparents in the rural areas, which we referred to as "up home". Exploring creeks, pastures, and a beloved barn became cherished memories of our childhood. Consequently, we developed an appreciation for the urban luxuries and distinctive character of the city, fondly known as our Big D, as well as the tranquility, marvel, and warmth of country life. This upbringing instilled in us strong family values and a faith deeply rooted in Southern tradition.

The establishment of Aunt Lillie Bells was born from the desire to offer customers fashion that harmonizes city glamour with Southern charm. Our beloved Aunt Lillie Bell, an inspiring figure known for her impeccable fashion sense (having worked in a hat department at a store), boundless hospitality, adventurous spirit, unwavering faith, and deep bonds with family, serves as the eponym for our brand. Her remarkable qualities encapsulate the essence we endeavor to embody when curating items for our boutique.
